In the 1990s in Berlin, Enia was chosen to play in a series of films entitled Europa Project. The shooting took place in Hungary, Spain, France and Croatia where the war particularly shocked Enia. She plunges into a depression that reaches its peak when she learns that she is pregnant. The team continues shooting in Finland and Enia stays in Paris where she gives birth to a little girl. 30 years later, Claire learns that she was adopted when she was a baby.
Dans les années 90 à Berlin, Enia est choisie pour jouer dans une série de films intitulée Europa Project. Le tournage se déroule en Hongrie, en Espagne, en France et en Croatie où la guerre choque particulièrement Enia. Elle plonge dans une dépression qui atteint son paroxysme quand elle apprend qu’elle est enceinte. L’équipe poursuit le tournage en Finlande et Enia reste à Paris où elle accouche d’une petite fille. 30 ans plus tard, Claire apprend qu’elle a été adoptée quand elle était bébé.

Invisibles Ties is a reflection on the links that bind us together. It is also a film of mood and atmosphere, a visual essay that explores the possibilities of filmic language.
The narrative follows two women, thirty years apart, as each confronts a decisive choice on which her future will depend.
These personal stories are traversed and inflected by history.
The film’s images are traces that delineate the outspread roots of the shared history that underlies their separate destinies.
Liens Invisibles est une réflexion sur les liens qui nous unissent les uns aux autres. C’est aussi un film d’atmosphère, un essai visuel qui interroge les différentes possibilités d’écriture cinématographique.
Le récit suit, à trente ans d’écart, deux femmes au moment où chacune d’elles se retrouve face à un choix décisif pour son propre avenir. Les histoires personnelles sont traversées par l’Histoire collective et influencées par elle.
Les images du film sont des empreintes, des racines qui se déploient pour créer une histoire commune à des destins séparés.
